The Vice President’s visit underscored a crucial environmental concern: the need to halt the cutting down of trees for charcoal production. Usi highlighted that sustainable practices are essential for protecting the country’s natural resources and promoting economic diversification.
By registering, charcoal producers can access government support to explore new business opportunities, thus aligning economic activity with environmental stewardship.
