Death has been announced of former Minister of Finance Goodall Gondwe.
Democractic Progressive Party (DPP) officials announced the sad news through their social media platforms on Tuesday night.
Gondwe served as Finance Minister under DPP founder late President Bingu wa Mutharika and current DPP leader Peter Mutharika.
Born on 1st December, 1936, in Kayiwonanga Village, Traditional Authority Mtwalo in Mzimba, Gondwe was a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers (FIB) and had a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of London.
