Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) has on Saturday elected Junier Kazembe, an incumbent Chairperson for the Southern Region Netball Committee (SRNC) as its new Vice President.
The elections were held during the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) that took place at Civo Club House in Lilongwe.
Kazembe who defeated her competitor Anastasia Kaphale replaces Chimwemwe Bakali.
In her remarks, the new NAM Vice President said:”I am very excited to be elected for such big position and I will work tirelessly to make NAM a wonderful body to the Malawi Netball Team.”
The AGM was presided over by NAM President Abgail Shariff.
NAM is the governing body of netball in Malawi.
