South Africa-based football star Frank Gabadinho Mhango has on Friday been unveiled as PremierBet Malawi brand ambassador for a period of one year.
During the unveiling ceremony held at Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre, PremierBet Malawi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Fady Younes said they thought of partnering South Africa Premiership side AmaZulu FC’s striker to promote responsible gambling due to his popularity.
“PremierBet is the best sports betting company in the country and we choose the best to represent us.
“Gaba has proved to be the finest sports personality in Malawi following a survey we did.
“According to our survey, over 90 percent of the Malawians involved praise and respect him,” he said.
On his part, Mhango said he is happy to be considered for the new role and is looking forward to a good working relationship.
” I feel honored for this opportunity and I promise to take the Premier Bet brand to the next level,” said Gaba.
The 30-year-old, who will return to South Africa this Sunday, has previously been brand ambassador for Airtel Top 8 Cup (2017), Hope for Cancer Foundation (2018), H. Adam Wholesalers (2022) and Gluco Power (2012).
