Chair of Kadria Moslem Association of Malawi Sheikh Jafali Kawinga has commended President Chakwera describing him as a real statesman.
Speaking during the Eid al-Fitr in Lilongwe, Kawinga said the Malawi leader has kept promises.
Kawinga gave example of how he has managed to keep promises on appointment of Moslems in different positions.
He gave example of Minister of Energy Ibrahim Matola , Abida Mia, Halima Daud , State Advisor Sheikh Abbas and many more.
Kawinga said the President’s door has remained open since his election in 2020.
“We have been meeting the President any time so you are indeed the servant leader,” he said.
