One of the country’s most decorated gospel music group The Great Angels Choir is set to launch its much anticipated music album titled Ufumu Umodzi Sumaukirana on Sunday (Christmas Day) at Bingu International Convention Center in Lilongwe.
The group’s Music Director Ephraim Zonda says preparations for the album launch are complete and urged people to come in large numbers to celebrate the festive season with them.
” I am very excited to inform you that preparations are complete and people should come in large numbers not only to support us but to celebrate the festive season with us. I think this is the best way to celebrate Christmas this year,” he said
The show is expected to start at 11 o’clock in the morning and there will be other exciting performances by both veteran and youthful gospel and secular artists.
Some of the artists who are expected to perform during the launch include Skeffa Chimoto, Mlaka Maliro, Kell Kay, Thoko Katimba, Billy Kaunda, Favoured Martha, Neligo Womens Choir, Marvelous Deeds and Ennoh.
After the Lilongwe launch, the group will travel to Blantyre where they are also expected to launch the album at Robins Park on a New Year.
