One of Malawi National Football Women’s team also known as Scorchers striker Fazila Chiyembekeza has joined Nigerian Women’s Football Champions Rivers Angels on a one year loan deal from Skippers FC.
Chiyembekeza has currently left Malawi through Kamuzu International Airport on her way to Nigeria.
Skippers FC administrator Linda Kasenda confirmed the development. The gangling forward was part of the Scorchers squad that participated at the 2021 Cosafa Women’s Championship in Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa.
Her move comes just few months after another Scorchers striker Sabina Thom joined Tanzanian side Simba Ladies.
