As one way of promoting Malawian films,the Film Association of Malawi ( FAMA) says it has entered into a partnership with Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre aims at creating a cultural cinema in Malawi.
According to the statement this publication has seen dated 22 September, 2021 and signed by FAMA vice general Secretary Charles Levison, the Association says through this partnership, among other things, Amaryllis Hotel will provide a space space in their hotel for movie premier.
However, following this partnership, FAMA is calling on general membership to support the initiative saying this will embrace a cinema culture which the association is advocating.
