President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has arrived at the Coca-Cola Beverages Malawi Ltd Head Office in Kanengo, Lilongwe.
He is presiding over the official launch of the company’s new Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) production line.
The event marks a significant milestone for Coca-Cola Beverages Malawi Ltd, one of the country’s leading players in the beverages manufacturing industry.
The PET line is a modern production system designed to enhance the efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability of plastic bottle manufacturing.
According to officials at Coca-Cola Beverages Malawi, the new line is expected to significantly boost production capacity while reducing environmental impact through advanced recycling-friendly technology.
President Chakwera’s presence at the launch underscores his administration’s commitment to supporting private sector investments and industrial development.
