Mzuzu University MCP Wing hosts a historic handover ceremony

On Friday, October 4th, Mzuzu University (Mzuni) made history by holding its first-ever handover ceremony for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) wing. The event featured Dr. John Paul, the Treasurer General of the MCP and an esteemed alumnus of Mzuni, as the guest of honor. His presence not only highlighted the importance of student engagement in politics but also served as an inspiration for the current students to follow in his footsteps. Dr. John Paul emphasized the need for academic diligence and active participation in party activities, sharing his own journey as a former wing member during his time at the university.

In his address, Dr. John Paul expressed confidence in the MCP’s continued governance, assuring the enthusiastic youth that the party is committed to serving the nation. He remarked that the MCP is becoming increasingly attractive, with more individuals joining its ranks every day.
