Tragic accident claims life of MUBAS student

Shadreck Chimtenga, a third-year Banking and Finance student at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), has tragically passed away following an accident at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS). The incident occurred yesterday during an inter-college event.

Chimtenga fell into a drain while attending the event at KUHeS, resulting in a severe head injury. Despite immediate medical attention and efforts to transport him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Authorities have confirmed the tragic outcome.
