Felix Njawala announces UTM departure from Tonse Alliance

Felix Njawala, a prominent figure in the United Transformation Movement (UTM), has announced his decision to withdraw from the Tonse Alliance. This declaration was made during a press conference held at the UTM headquarters in Lilongwe.

Njawala’s exit from the coalition has prompted a range of reactions. Chimwenwe Simkonda remarked, “I saw this coming,” suggesting that the split was anticipated. Thangateni Bato Adam described the move as “great news” and commended the decision, expressing interest in who will emerge as the party’s presidential candidate in the upcoming elections. Dem Dem Boss also welcomed the development, calling it “very good.”
