How rich is Mark Zuckerberg today?

It’s the first time Zuckerberg has broken into the top three on Bloomberg’s ranking of the richest people since Nov. 16, 2020, when he was worth $105.6 billion and Musk’s fortune was $102.1 billion. Musk now has a net worth of $180.6 billion; Zuckerberg’s is $186.9 billion.
Zuckerberg took the company public in May 2012 with majority shares. In 2008, at age 23, he became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. He has since used his funds to organize multiple philanthropic endeavors, including the establishment of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
Mark Zuckerberg is the founder, chairman and CEO of Meta, which he originally founded as Facebook in 2004.
A 19-year-old Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook in 2004 for students to match names with photos of classmates. Zuckerberg took Facebook public in 2012; he now owns about 13% of the company’s stock. Facebook changed its name to Meta in 2021 to shift the company’s focus to the metaverse.
Facebook made a lot of people millionaires but it made 10 people billionaires. The stock opened today at $38 per share. Using that price, Bloomberg calculated the net worth of Facebook’s richest employees and investors. They’re now worth ten or eleven figures.
Instagram, a photo and video-sharing website and app, is owned by Meta. Instagram launched Oct. 6, 2010, and was acquired by Facebook in 2012 for $1 billion.
