One of the country’s financial institutions FDH Bank has brought in a promotion called ‘Usampatse Timpatsa’ which is aimed at encouraging its customers to transact through the bank’s digital channels.
According to the Bank’s senior Manager for Digital Sales, the promotion is expected to run up to October 31, 2023.
“We want to encourage digital transactions culture as most people transact using cash which is expensive, so we want to encourage our customers to transact using digital channels.
“We are known as a digital bank and over the years, we have launched quite a number of digital transactions compaigns and this is part of ongoing improvements, ” said Mbawala.
He disclosed that any FDH Bank account holder is eligible to participate in the promotion which includes inter-bank transfers, transfers to airtel money or TNM mpamba, transfers to FDH wallets and cardless withdrawals.
Mbawala concluded that as part of the promotion, the bank will be giving away monthly prizes such as Iphone 14 pro max to two people, one Playstation 5 and K50,000 cash to 12 people.
