As part of appreciating its customers, one of the country’s large sugar manufacturing companies Illovo Sugar Malawi has today launched a K157 million “Tseke Tseke Kuma Last Ndi Illovo,”.
According Kondwani Msimuko,the company’s finance director,the promotion is expected to run until August 21,2023.
He said there are several prizes that have been allocated towards the promotion.
“We have launched this promotion so as to appreciate our customers across the country and there are a lot of prizes in the promotion such as bicycles, bundles of sugar and many others. It’s an interesting promotion,”he said.
Msimuko urged people to always be with Illovo for such good things to continue happening.
Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is principally engaged in growing sugar cane and the manufacturer of sugar.
The Company operates through two segments: Cane growing and Sugar production. The Cane growing segment is involved in the growing of sugar cane for use in the sugar production process while sugar production segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of sugar from sugar cane.
Illovo has agricultural and milling assets at the Dwangwa estate situated in the mid-central region of Malawi at Nkhotakota and at the Nchalo estate in the south at Chikhwawa.
The Company sells sugar into the local direct consumption market through its chain of distribution channels and also into the local artisanal and industrial market through export sales into regional African markets and into markets in the European Union (EU) and the United States of America (USA).
