Chitipa United are the Champions of the 2023 Simso-Innobuild Northern Region Top 4 Bonanza after Beating Mzimba United 5-4 on post Match penalties at Chiwanja Ground in Mzuzu.
The match ended 1-all during regulation time courtesy of goals from Jasper Manda and Ken Mlenga for Mzimba and Chitipa United respectively.
The win means that Chitipa are the only League Champions to win the bonanza since its inception.
Karonga United, Ekwendeni Hammers and Rumphi United failed to win the Bonanza despite being promoted into the elite League.
Chitipa United, Mzimba United, Kadona Stars and Baka City are the teams that battled it out during this year’s bonanza.
