Blue Eagles thrash Dedza Dynamos 4-0 to reclaim second position in TNM Super League

Blue Eagles FC are back in the second place of the TNM Super League after thrashing Dedza Dynamos 4-nil at Nankhaka Stadium.

The areas 30 side drew their first blood through Ian Chinyama in the 15th minute before Gaddie Chirwa scored in the 33rd minute to end the first half at 2-nil in favor of the police side.

In the second half, the home side continued from where they stopped in the first half with man of the match Richard Rapson scoring in the 55th minute before Chirwa came with his second goal and Blue Eagles’ 4th, seven minutes later.

The win means that Blue Eagles have now accumulated 53 points and have reduced the gap between themselves and league leaders Nyasa Big Bullets to 8 points but the People’s team have a game in hand.



Elsewhere Silver Strikers relied on Rodwell Robert’s 73rd minute goal to snatch a vital away victory against Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium in Mzuzu.

Silver are now on fifth position with 46 points from 28 games while Moyale are on 7th position with 40 points after playing 26 games.

In Kasungu, struggling Sable Farming got a surprising 2-1 victory against TN Stars at Kasungu Stadium. Innocent Chipolopolo and Mike Tette were on target for Sable while China Chirwa scored a consolation for the home side.

The two sides remain in the relegation zone alongside Rumphi United.
