ESCOM pre warns of 14 hours black outs on Sunday

Malawian are expected to experience more of electricity woes as ESCOM has announced a prolonged load shedding on Sunday “due to inadequate power supply”.
In a statement from the National Supplier is states “All residential customers will be subjected to an average of 14 hours load shedding,”

Another utility body, Blantyre Water Board says, it is facing water pumping interruption at Mudi Water Treatment Plant and Chichiri Pumping Station “due to a fault”.
The Board says in its communication to users that this has, therefore, caused no-water situation in 13 areas such as Kanjedza, Bangwe, Nguludi, Chigumula and Catholic University.
Malawians have expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of utility services in the country urging government to do more to improve the situation
